“I never gave up anything for television. TV is my job, but it’s not my entire life. Some people confuse this. When we work in television, it’s part of our lives—but it’s not our whole life. It’s completely wrong to expect TV to give you everything because it never will,” she explained in an interview with Espresso.
For Vicky, what matters most is dedicating time to loved ones and self-care. “We need to have inner balance and make time for family, friends, ourselves, the people we love, and our interests,” she emphasized.
She also revealed that she was offered a position to run a TV station. “About a year and a half ago, I was offered the role of director at ERT3. With humility, caution, and gratitude for the offer, I decided I didn’t have the time to take on something like that. Running a channel requires complete dedication,” she said.
