With the countdown to the 2026 Academy Awards nearing the one-month mark, the Best Actress nominees — such as Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, and Emma Stone — gathered again at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 10. The Bugonia star unofficially kicked off the “battle” of little black dresses with a mini piece, just two weeks old, by Julie de Libran. Her stylist, Petra Flannery, had no trouble securing the couture design from the Spring 2026 collection shortly after Paris Haute Couture Week.

The sharply emphasized shoulders and thigh-skimming length gave a fresh dimension to the minimalist actress, who usually prefers maxi silhouettes. A long pendant could have “filled” the space created by the plunging neckline down to the navel, but Stone didn’t need it. De Libran decorated the edge of the neckline with a leather version of the rosette trend that dominated around 2023, while the look was completed with strappy Aquazzura sandals.
