An unknown person called the Greek-French school at the northern suburb of Agia Paraskevi shortly after 8 a.m. on Thursday informing them of a bomb on the premises. The police were alerted and gave the order for the premises to be evacuated.

The bomb was deemed a hoax. Parents were advised not to pick up their children and the students are back in class with lessons proceeding as usual.
