Woman creates amazing coin-floor! (photos-video)

Beautiful design

Newsroom March 29 05:48

When Tonya Tooners from Portland, Oregon wanted to update the flooring in her room, she rejected all the usual materials such as wood, tiles, bricks and carpet.
Instead, she went to a bank and got three huge bags of pennies, each containing 5,000 coins. She also bought glue, grout, wood filler and epoxy from a hardware store.
Tonya didn’t have any specific design in mind, so she put some pennies into a diamond shape to experiment. Pleased with the design, she continued this pattern, and a few months later the floor was finished. It took a little longer than expected, because her dog loved to poop on the pennies!
Even though the floor is made entirely of pennies, let’s take a look at it — with such a pretty design, it really looks a million bucks!
