According to the National Meteorological Service (EMY) deterioration of the weather is on its way. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to occur today in the northern Ionian Sea, and the northern and western mainland.
These phenomena are accompanied locally by hail and strong winds, while gradual weakening is expected by night.

The Independent Directorate of Civil Protection of the Region of Central Macedonia advise the public to remain vigilant by ensuring the measures of self-protection from risks arising from the outbreak of severe weather phenomena.
