CAS Returns 7 points to PAOK and sends the case to the EPO Appeals Committee

The case returns to the appellate court, which will have to examine again whether there is a multi-ownership relationship between the two teams

Newsroom July 10 02:44

At noon on Friday (10/7), just five days after the trial of the PAOK – Xanthi multi-ownership case, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decided to return 7 points to PAOK and referred the case again to the EPO Appeals Committee.

The case returns to the appellate court, which will have to examine again whether there is a multi-ownership relationship between the two teams, without being bound by any of the Professional Sports Committee’s decision-making recommendations.

The judicial “battle” essentially starts from the beginning, as after any decision issued by the Secondary Appeals Committee of the EPO, each side will be able to appeal again to the CAS.
