Covid-19 Greece – 7 deaths in a day reported

There were 259 new cases

A total of 259 new cases of coronavirus in Greece were announced today, 25 of which were identified after checks at the country’s entry points. There were 7 new deaths recorded, of which 89 (35.0%) are women and the rest men, bringing the death toll to 255.

The total number of cases is 9,531, of which 55.5% are men, while 1,975 (20.7%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 4,271 (44.8%) are related to an already known case.

Of the 145 domestic cases, 11 are related to a recent trip within the country.

A total of 35 patients are intubated. Their median age is 68 years, with 11 (31.4%) being women and the rest men. 45.7% have an underlying disease or are aged 70 and over.

Finally, 147 patients have been discharged from the ICUs.
