A woman was allegedly raped by a foreign national after she was invited to his house in the suburb of Nea Smyrni. The victim, 25, told police in a formal complaint that the 40-year-old man raped her in the presence of 4 other people, while he shaved her head and stole her papers and mobile phone.

According to Mega channel, the incident occurred when the foreigner invited her to his house at midnight last Thursday.

A few minutes later, the man allegedly immobilised her, tied her hands with plastic handcuffs, and raped her in the presence of four people.

The rape was recorded by a CCTV camera installed in the house. He then forced her to take a bath after threatening her with a baseball bat and a pistol and partly shaving her head.

The suspect, who has a police record for drug trafficking, stole her mobile phone and personal documents and kicked her out of the house. At 4 in the morning, the woman in a state of shock went to the police department of Nea Smyrni where she filed an official complaint.

Police officers with the assistance of OPKE and the Drug Prosecution raided the perpetrator’s apartment and arrested him.
