Watch scary, life-looking Resident Evil billboard in New York (video)

Resident Evil, Netflix’s latest series, was released on 14 July

Newsroom July 18 03:13

Since the 1880s, billboards have been a huge part of advertising products. Hanging huge billboards across the country is a great marketing strategy to advertise products to a larger audience. With time, the technology advancements have given an extra edge to the strategies these days. And that is what Resident Evil did.

Resident Evil, Netflix’s latest series, was released on 14 July. And its advertisement was seen on an amazing billboard in Time Square, New York.

Recently, a 3D advertisement of the show was featured on the Time Square 3D billboard. In this advertisement, a Licker, an infamous monster from the franchise, can be seen breaking a glass wall and jumping out of the screen before running off the edge.

This advertisement was captured by a fan and then uploaded on YouTube. Later it was taken to Twitter by Joe Pompliano, a sports and business insider. After which, comments from fans started pouring in as many were awestruck by the surreal VFX, while some said was extremely breathtaking.
