A 4,9 Richter earthquake took place on Tuesday night at 22.06 in Evia, according to the Geodynamic Institute of the Athens Observatory.

The focal depth of the earthquake is 5 km, and the epicenter is 8 km east southeast of the village of Zarakes in southern Evia.
