Tragedy in Libya: Three Greek rescuers dead two missing after horrific car accident (video-photos) (Upd.2)

The initial announcements from the Greek MoD & FM mentioned "minor injuries"

Newsroom September 17 11:42

UPDATE: Shortly before midnight on Sunday, with an announcement by the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDGS) it was announced that “three members of the Greek humanitarian mission in Libya lost their lives and two are missing” with the addition “newer information will follow”.

There are unidentified victims from the crash and may be difficult to be identified at this time.

The traffic accident in which members of the Greek humanitarian aid were involved earlier today in Derna, Libya, turned into a tragedy.

Despite the initial information from Hellenic National Defense General Staff that after the traffic accident there were some minor injuries, major international news agencies broadcast statements by Othman Abduljaleel, the Libyan Minister of Health, who spoke of 4 dead Greeks.
