Protothema at the site of the massacre of hundreds of innocent music goers in Israel (chilling videos-photos)

The Israeli army arrested a male suspect with a knife

Newsroom October 12 06:43

Protothema.gr correspondent Frixos Drakondidis recorded video and took photos of the horrific scene in the aftermath at the site where hundreds of innocent people were massacred by the Islamic terrorists of Hamas during a rave festival near the border with Gaza in Israel.

The shocking images were snapped as a pool of foreign journalists were allowed access to the site by Israeli authorities.

As can be seen in the video, dozens of cars were abandoned and others were burned. Camp equipment, sleeping bags personal belongings, water bottles, and clothes were left behind and are still there, five days after the massacre, as many terrified civilians were trying to save their lives.

Indicative of the horror the partygoers suffered was that Hamas members put them in their cars and burned them alive. Meanwhile, even today many of the festival’s visitors remain missing.

Arrest of a suspect in live-streaming

Meanwhile, while journalists and TV crews were inside the site of the blood-soaked music festival, authorities spotted and arrested a male suspect. According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, the man was armed with a knife and was moving suspiciously towards the journalists inside the plot. However, he was very quickly neutralized and arrested by the army. At the same time, the spokeswoman of the ministry asked journalists not to follow the soldiers as they could be in danger at any time.

“They were looking to kill as many people as possible,” she said. The drama is also revealed through stories of families. An Israeli father, 50-year-old Mark Peretz, ran to the site as the horror unfolded in the hope of saving his 20-year-old daughter Maya, who is among the missing.

Mark knew he was heading into danger when he began his journey south and was on the phone with his family when shots rang out and the call was cut off. No one has heard from Mark since. Friends have found his car, but no sign of him. Both Mark and Maya remain missing.
