Mitsotakis sends TikTok reminder: Deadline approaching for postal voting applications

The PM stressed that absentee voting is not only for Greeks living abroad, but for every Greek citizen who wants to vote without requiring physical presence - "We already have more than 115,000 applications."

Newsroom April 23 10:45

PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis called on Greek citizens to register on the platform to vote by post from around the globe, reminding, via a video on TikTok that the deadline is on Monday.

Mitsotakis stressed that postal voting does not only concern Greeks living abroad. “But the truth is that it concerns every Greek citizen who wants to vote without having to be physically present at the polling station, saving both time and money,” he said, adding.

In particular, absentee voting is for the elderly, our fellow citizens with disabilities, young people who work seasonal jobs, students, pupils who may be preparing for the Panhellenic exams. It even affects those who just want to go swimming on June 9.
