The monthly road tax amount to 10 Euros for Easter in the village

See when the myCar platform will open for vehicle immobilization - Options for car owners

Newsroom April 26 12:10

Thousands of taxpayers who have placed their vehicles in immobilization status will soon have the opportunity to spend Easter in the village or in another destination by paying monthly road tax for just one month.

According to announcements by Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Haris Theocharis, the myCar platform for paying monthly road tax is scheduled to open on May 1st, which is Holy Wednesday.

Specifically, Mr. Theocharis stated, “From May 1st, the process of paying fees per month will be activated. However, the fine specified for the case where someone moves their vehicle while it is declared immobilized still applies. It is a fine of 10,000 euros because it is a very serious violation.”

If the schedule is adhered to, taxpayers will also have the opportunity, before Easter, to digitally lift the immobilization of their vehicles and pay fees for the months they want to use them until the end of the year.

In any case, vehicle owners who have placed their vehicles in immobilization status will be able to lift the immobilization again this year by paying monthly road tax.
