The second accused, 41 years old, after his plea to the investigating magistrate, was released on bail and on conditions of not leaving the country and appearing at the police station in his area.

According to protothema.gr, the 51-year-old admitted that he was the one who shot and killed the victim, while before the investigator claimed that he was upset as the cocaine sold by the victim was of poor quality.

Two days after the homicide, police officers of the Security Department of Thermi found the vehicle with which the perpetrators had moved, burnt to the ground on a side road of the Thessaloniki – Moudania highway, while the fire had caused a danger to adjacent properties. It is noted that the vehicle had no license plates.
