Mitsotakis highlighted measures such as stadium cameras and electronic tickets to enhance security.

He also discussed plans for sports infrastructure development, including proposals for the Greek Cup final to be held annually in OAKA with fans. The PM reflected on his connection to sports, mentioning his father played volleyball and the recent popularity of tennis and other sports in Greece. He praised iconic Greek athletes like Nikos Galis and Giannis Antetokounmpo, underlining their impact on Greek sports. Additionally, Mitsotakis reminisced about memorable moments in Greek basketball history and praised legendary players like Nikos Anastopoulos and Panagiotis Giannakis.

Mitsotakis emphasized the need for increased sports participation among Greeks and outlined the government’s efforts to tackle stadium violence through measures like cameras, electronic tickets, and automated penalties. Additionally, he discussed the nature of political careers, the importance of timely exits, and the temporary nature of applause and success.

Mitsotakis also expressed his excitement over the success of Greek teams in the Euroleague, praising Olympiakos and Panathinaikos, and shared his anticipation for potentially attending a Greek final.
