Real fans traveled to the Champions League Final by plane in the colors of Barcelona! (videos)

Ronaldinho: The veteran Brazilian arrived at Wembley for the final in a pink Rolls Royce

Newsroom June 1 10:00

He may have hung up his football shoes for years but he is still a superstar of the “round goddess”.

At the age of 44, Ronaldinho enjoys the love of the world wherever he is on the planet.

The Brazilian who in 2006 won the Champions League with Barcelona could not miss Wembley.

The temple of world football will host this year’s final and Ronaldinho stole everybody’s thunder upon his arrival. He took to the field in a pink Rolls Royce which was branded with NIKE.

This super luxury car has been curated for Ronnie by Nike. It’s inspired by their sponsorship partnership for a new pair of shoes in the same flashy colour, which Ronaldinho launched while playing 5X5 in the ‘heart’ of the English capital, alongside children.

But that is not the only newsworthy incident in light of today’s Champions League Final between Dortmund and Real Madrid.

The friends of Real Madrid traveled on a charter flight of the Vueling Airlines company and when it was time to board the plane they were surprised to see that it’s paint-job was that of the colors of…Barcelona!

Some thought it was a bad joke, some others thought it was a prank, but the reality was different.

This particular company a few weeks ago signed a sponsorship agreement with the women’s team of Barcelona, which last Saturday won the women’s Champions League for the second year in a row!

So, several of its planes have been dressed in the colors of the Blaugrana and have the photo of the women’s team, and apparently due to high demand, one of them had to be recruited in order to transport Real’s fans!

As for reactions? Some disapproved, some laughed, some others considered it a good luck…
