Coldplay: Behind the Scenes of Their Epic Music Video Shoot at Herodion

"It's like nothing we've ever seen before," exclaimed Chris Martin, alluding to the venue choice, a place the British band seems to have totally fallen for

“Feels Like I’m Falling In Love”: This title of Coldplay’s upcoming song perfectly captures the magic of their video shoot last night at Herodion, where around 2000 fans joined in for an unforgettable experience. Chris Martin summed it up best, calling it “the coolest place we’ve ever seen,” a sentiment echoed by the entire band.

Yesterday’s shoot at Herodeion marked the pinnacle of their Greek journey, following two electrifying shows at OAKA attended by over 120,000 fans. Grateful for the warm reception, Coldplay poured their hearts into every moment.

Chris Martin, sporting a jacket adorned with colorful LEDs, led the charge, performing their latest track alongside recorded music. Projected lyrics adorned the walls, encouraging fans to sing along, while children interpreted the song in sign language. Six takes later, the shoot was a wrap.

Chris Martin’s infectious energy kept spirits high, joking, dancing, and engaging with the crowd. Post-shoot, he knelt on stage, thanking fans and paying homage to the historic venue, sealing Coldplay’s love for Greece.

Taking to Instagram, Coldplay extended their gratitude to Greek Culture Minister Lina Mendoni and the Antiquities Tax Office for granting access to Herodion, making their “magical shoot” possible.
