The alarm was raised at the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) on Friday following an armed confrontation among three Kurds on Moutsopoulou coast in Piraeus.

From the bloody incident, one man is reported to have lost his life and another has been injured and transported by ambulance to Tzaneio Hospital. Police officers rushed to the scene and made one arrest.

The reason why the weapons were drawn is still unclear, with the investigation ongoing. Initially, it was thought to be a robbery, given that the shots were fired outside a supermarket.
