Kim Cattrall was thrilled with her maiden voyage to Greece. The beloved and timelessly unconventional Samantha from “Sex and the City” spent three days in Athens accompanied by her partner, Russell Thomas, thoroughly enjoying the beauties of our country, the hospitality, and of course, the delicious Greek food. She also met with several international as well as local stars.

“Wonderful first visit to Greece,” she wrote on her Instagram account, accompanying her post with a “Thank you” written in Greek, as well as the song “Someday Someway” by internationally renowned Greek artist Demis Roussos. In this way, she wanted to express both her excitement and gratitude.

The 67-year-old actress was in Athens as a guest at the three-day grand opening party of the luxurious One & Only Aesthesis resort in Asteria Glyfada. She impressed everyone with her radiance, extroverted personality, and boundless energy.

She even made sure to capture some of the special moments she experienced in Athens. Among these were her visit to the Acropolis, enjoying the Greek sunset on the Athenian Riviera, and leisurely strolls with her partner.

Particularly sociable, she seemed to enjoy the Athenian nights, making a dynamic appearance at the parties she was invited to. She was radiant, constantly smiling, and very eager to chat with her glamorous fellow guests. Among them were Australian pop star Kylie Minogue, with whom she spent a lot of time, and Welsh actor and singer Luke Evans.

Constantly by her side was her partner, Russell Thomas, who is 14 years younger than her and with whom she has been together for the past eight years. The two first met in 2016, and despite him working as a sound technician at the BBC and not having much of a connection with the limelight, they have managed to create a balanced relationship in which they feel calm and happy.

While long-term relationships might have seemed like a nightmare for the adventurous Samantha Jones, for Kim Cattrall, however, a successful partnership isn’t a matter of luck but the result of the work the couple puts in to create a beautiful life together.
