Donald Trump’s wife made a distinct entrance, separate from the rest of the family who were by the former U.S. president’s side when he signed the documents for his official acceptance of his candidacy for the November elections.
Melania Trump entered the convention venue radiant, smiling, and greeting the cheering crowds until she took her seat next to vice-presidential candidate J.D. Vance to the sounds of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

Donald Trump made a special mention of his wife during his speech, saying, “On this journey, it is an honor to have my amazing wife, Melania, by my side. Melania, thank you very much,” prompting extended applause from the delegates.
After his 93-minute speech, Melania joined him on stage, whispering something in his ear, and the presidential candidate kissed her on the cheek.
Melania Trump and other family members stayed on stage for about 20 minutes, standing by the former U.S. president’s side, with his wife at times holding his hand affectionately and at other times conversing with J.D. Vance and his wife.
