Deaths of bathers in Porto Rafti, Samos and Nafplio

They are a 77-year-old woman and two 87-year-old men

Three people died by drowning on Saturday (27/7) in separate incidents in Attica, Argolida and Samos.

Specifically, at noon, the Port Authority of Markopoulo was informed that a 77-year-old Greek woman was pulled unconscious from the beach of Agia Marina, Porto Rafti.

She was transported by ambulance to Evangelismos, where she was pronounced dead.

In Samos, the Port Authority was informed about an 87-year-old resident who was found unconscious on Kokkari beach. The unfortunate man was evacuated to the General Hospital of Samos where he was pronounced dead.

Finally, an 87-year-old local man was pulled unconscious from the beach of Vivario in Nafplio.

In this case, he was also evacuated to a hospital where his death was determined.

In all cases, an autopsy was ordered.
