Without facing any difficulty in the qualifying round, the duo of Bourbou and Anastasiadou celebrated their qualification for the semifinals in the women’s pair rowing event, finishing in second place in their race.

The second day of the Paris Olympic Games started as the first, with rowing. On the first day, Ntouskos qualified for the next phase in the single sculls, while today, Sunday (28/7), Christina Bourbou and Evangelia Anastasiadou qualified.

The Greek athletes finished second in their race with a time of 7:20.49, behind the Australians who were the first to qualify for the semifinals from this race with a time of 7:16.58.

Only the top two crews from the first heat directly advanced to the semifinals of the lightweight women’s double sculls.
