Today’s weather pattern across Greece, Thursday (5/9), will feature cloudy skies, leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas during the afternoon.

Temperatures will rise slightly on the mainland but will remain 2-3 degrees cooler in the island regions. Winds will be westerly, with northern winds at sea reaching up to 6 Beaufort.

In Attica and Thessaloniki, the weather will generally be favorable. However, Attica may experience brief cloud cover during midday and afternoon hours, while local rain is possible in the mountainous areas of Thessaloniki.

Temperatures will reach up to 35°C in Athens and up to 32°C in Thessaloniki.

Cyclades, Crete

– Winds: North-northwesterly at 4 to 6 Beaufort.
– Temperature: From 22°C to 31°C, reaching 32-34°C in some parts of Crete.

Eastern Aegean Islands – Dodecanese
– Weather: Generally clear.
– Winds: North-northwesterly at 4 to 6 Beaufort.
– Temperature: Ranging from 22°C to 33°C.

Thessaly
– Weather: Generally clear. During midday and afternoon hours, clouds will develop, possibly leading to local rain and isolated thunderstorms in mountainous areas.

– Temperature: From 19°C to 35°C. In the Sporades, temperatures will range from 24°C to 30°C.
