The American forward/center announced his retirement from professional basketball on Wednesday (September 4), ending a long and successful career in European basketball.

In an Instagram story, Spanoulis paid tribute to Hines with a photo of the two of them, writing: “Amazing player, amazing person, amazing teammate, terrific friend, legendary career, respect.”
