To mark the one-year anniversary tomorrow of the deadly Hamas attack, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has released footage of the tragic moments of October 7. The attack that day, which marked the region, led to fierce fighting between Israeli forces and Hamas.

In a statement, the IDF said: “On the morning of October 7, the Hamas terrorist organization launched a violent attack on Israel. The security forces reacted immediately, advancing south and fighting courageously alongside the local defense forces of the surrounding communities, in order to protect the residents of the Gaza border and the country as a whole.”

Video of the operations by Israeli special forces in kibbutz Reim:

“The fighting culminated in several settlements and kibbutzes, including Erez, Urim, Reim, Beeri, Alhumim and Nahal Oz. In kibbutz Reim, during a heroic clash in which dozens of terrorists were neutralized, the commander of Unit 888, Colonel Roy Yosef Levi, and the head of the unit’s training company, Captain Yotam Ben Bast, were killed,” the IDF said.
