Giannis Antetokounmpo Gets heated after foul from Josh Giddey – Receives technical foul

"Calm down," say commentators to the Greek Freak, as the foul occurred during a pre-season friendly

Newsroom October 15 09:00

In a pre-season friendly between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s reaction to a hard foul by Josh Giddey caught attention. The Australian guard, now playing for Chicago, forcefully brought his arms down on Giannis to prevent a basket. Even after the referee’s whistle, Giddey held on, which visibly annoyed the “Greek Freak,” leading Giannis to shove him.

Following the altercation, the referees issued a technical foul to Antetokounmpo, an unusual response given that the game was a pre-season match. The incident quickly went viral on social media, with fans and commentators urging Giannis to “calm down” and not let his emotions get the best of him in non-competitive settings. Some even predicted that this season will see a more aggressive side of the NBA star.
