Unidentified offenders climbed and entered through a bathroom window inside a two-storey maisonette in Filothei, however their movements were noticed by the occupants of the house and they fled without removing anything.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at 5.00pm.

According to information from protothema.gr, a 59-year-old American man, who works as a diplomat at the U.S. Embassy, and his wife, a Puerto Rican citizen and holder of an American passport, live in the house.

Investigations are continuing to identify the perpetrators.
