Exclusive event at the Museum of Cycladic Art in New York with VIP guests, collectors, and the Empeirikos & Niarchos families

Niarchos, Empeirikos, Goulandris and so many other art lovers travelled to New York where last Monday they attended the fabulous Gala dinner hosted by the Museum of Cycladic Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Maria Lemonia November 23 09:47

It is an event held every two years to raise money for the museum’s causes. This year there was an extra reason as businessman and art lover Leonard Stern donated 162 Cycladic pieces from his personal collection to the Museum of Cycladic Art and the Greek state. The attendees had the opportunity to see them for the first time in person as they are currently on display advertising Greece and its history at MET.

A distinguished Greek woman from abroad, Stella Volandes, editor of “Town & Country”, was Master of Ceremony at an event that one thing is for sure: it will be unforgettable for the guests.
