Maldives: The moment a shark bit an influencer – The video has 18 million views on Instagram

Millions of views have been received on Instagram for the video of influencer influencer, Lillian Tagliari, of the moment a shark bit her on the leg in the Maldives.

A travel influencer has captured the moment she was bitten by a shark while swimming in The Maldives.

She even captioned her post, which has 18 million views, “Yes I swim among the sharks, I don’t like being photographed with sharks, yes I know I’m in their home. So I’m not complaining.”

Taliari reckons that the shark probably mistook her for a fish and that’s why it bit her.

The Brazilian influencer, who lives in Australia, was swimming among about 50 sharks when the incident occurred.

Describing what happened she said “We had been swimming for about an hour when I decided to go back to our boat. Then I thought ‘it wouldn’t hurt to do some more diving’. They throw fish from the boats and because this type of shark (nurse shark) they don’t have good eyesight, so it probably bit me.”
