Describing what happened to Panagiotakis, his mother expressed. He drank his milk and it was time to do my chores. When I came back from the bathroom, I saw my child like this, his head turned to the side, bruised and his tongue bitten. As soon as I took the child in my arms I knew he had fainted and immediately peace took him in hand to give him first aid.”

“We arrived at the hospital, we got out of the car, Irene in the front, Irene in the back, I told the doctor that the child was vomiting blood. Unfortunately, the child was already dead,” the boy’s mother continued.

She also said “I did not look at Irene when I was told that Panagiotis was dead. I didn’t ask her what happened but I asked her “did you do something?” and she replied, “No, Poppy”.
