Russia and Ukraine proceeded with the exchange of 25 prisoners of war following negotiations mediated by the United Arab Emirates, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement.

“After a negotiation process, 25 Russian soldiers were repatriated from territory controlled by the Kyiv regime. In exchange, 25 prisoners of war from the Ukrainian armed forces were transferred” to Ukraine, according to the ministry’s statement on Telegram.
