Rescue of migrants off Gavdos – Tanker spotted a boat with 36 people

They were transferred to the port of Agia Galini, accompanied by a coast guard boat

Another rescue of migrants was carried out in the sea area southeast of Gavdos.

It is about 36 people who were on board a boat and were spotted by a tanker flying the Maltese flag in the sea area 30 nautical miles south-southeast of Gavdos.

The migrants were taken to the port of Agia Galini, accompanied by a Coast Guard rescue boat.

The weather conditions in the area are good.
