Farmers: They call for dialogue with the government, proceed to three-hour road blockades

Panhellenic meeting was held on Friday in Palamas Karditsa

The farmers have decided to seek a meeting with a governmental team to present their demands and concerns, farmers decided during a nationwide meeting held on Friday in Palamas Karditsa.

The farmers are calling for this particular echelon, which they want to be composed of representatives of the ministries of Rural Development, Infrastructure, Environment, Development, and Finance, to go to the Thessaly Plain for talks.

At the same time, they decided to proceed to three-hour blockades with tractors or on foot at all the points where blockades had been set up around Greece.

The meeting was attended by 25 blockades from all over the country, from Crete to Evros.
