Trump believes freedom of expression in Europe is under threat (video)

The US President reiterated his Vice President's statements from Munich - He also believes that "Europe has a serious migration problem"

Newsroom February 15 08:30

US President Donald Trump has expressed concern over what he claimed was a threat to the “right to freedom of expression” in Europe, echoing statements made earlier Friday in a speech in Munich by US Vice President JD Vance.

When asked about Vance’s speech at the Munich Security Conference, Trump ruled: “Europe is missing the wonderful right of freedom of expression,” and then added: “Europe has a serious immigration problem.”

Earlier, Vance accused European politicians of censoring free expression.

Trump claimed his vice president’s speech was well received.

Vance’s speech sparked strong reactions in Europe. A Reuters reporter who was in one of the side rooms of the one where the conference is being held, where more delegates were listening to the U.S. vice president’s speech, said they seemed surprised and did not applaud him.
