Social benefits to be paid by OPEKA tomorrow

Tomorrow, February 28, social benefits for the month of February will be paid to eligible recipients, totaling €180,980,432, according to the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family and OPEKA.

Specifically, the following payments will be made:

  • Social Solidarity Allowance for Seniors: 20,661 beneficiaries – €8,522,080

  • Funeral Expenses: 77 beneficiaries – €61,440
  • Birth Allowance: 10,174 beneficiaries – €13,375,550
  • Allowance for Mountainous & Disadvantaged Areas: 8 beneficiaries – €3,600
  • “Red Loans” Assistance: 2,879 beneficiaries – €248,981
  • Allowance for Children of Victims of Natural Disasters: 21 beneficiaries – €21,000
  • Vulnerable Debtors Assistance: 260 beneficiaries – €27,982
  • Foster Care Allowance: 604 beneficiaries – €463,389
  • Personal Assistant Program: 1,742 beneficiaries – €1,377,821
  • Solidarity Allowance for the Greek Minority in Albania: 13,440 beneficiaries – €3,153,615

Total Beneficiaries: 618,297
Total Payments: €180,980,432
