The Secretary General of Civil Protection Vassilis Papageorgiou resigned

The resignation is linked to the departure of Triandopoulos, "in order to facilitate justice"

Vassilis Papageorgiou, Secretary General of Civil Protection, has resigned, citing reasons of political propriety in the Tempi case.

Papageorgiou has been prosecuted for tampering with the accident site. The timing of the resignation is not unrelated to the departure of Christos Triandopoulos from the government.
