There was a police intervention at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 30.
Specifically, riot police (MAT) forces are currently intervening at AUTH following a statement released by anarchist-affiliated individuals claiming they had reoccupied the Physics Department Hangout. At this hour, demonstrators have gathered outside the School of Sciences, holding banners and chanting slogans.
Hooded individuals, emerging from among the crowd, attacked the police with stones and objects upon their arrival at the site.
In response, police attempted to disperse the crowd by deploying chemical agents.
