Tourists from around the world “flooded” Syntagma Square today and watched the changing of the guard in front of the monument to the Unknown Soldier.

Waiting patiently under the Attic sun, standing or even sitting on the pavement opposite the Unknown Soldier, on the steps of Constitution Square, crowds of people attended the traditional, big change of guard of the eusons, which takes place every Sunday at 11:00, with spectators at that time estimated at about 2.000-2,500.

Many people, both foreigners and Greeks, recorded the unique moments with their mobile phones and cameras, in complete silence, throughout the ritual.
