On Thursday, June 26 at 18:05, iconic images and landmarks of Athens and Greece will be broadcast around the world.

Behind the WRC “beasts,” the backdrop will be painted in Greek colors. The Acropolis, the Panathenaic Stadium, and of course the Zappeion Hall — right in front of which the gods of the WRC will perform their acrobatic pirouettes. All of this will unfold just minutes after the ceremonial start of our national race in the square in front of the Panathenaic Stadium.

The Super Special Stage, which kicks off the EKO Acropolis Rally 2025, will pass in front of the Discobolus statue and travel along Vasileos Konstantinou and Vasilissis Olgas Avenues before ending in Zappeion Square.

There, two specially designed zones will allow the rally cars to perform the necessary doughnuts before reaching the finish line. Admission for the public will be free.

The EKO Athens Super Special Stage is 1.5 kilometers long and will be broadcast live worldwide, showcasing Athens’ historic landmarks through the high-adrenaline lens of WRC racing.

The event is supported by the Region of Attica and the Municipality of Athens, both of which played a role in bringing motorsport action back to the historic city center. The way the stage has been designed will highlight many important monuments of the capital.
