Androulakis on OPEKEPE: If there is a member of PASOK involved, who has harmed the public interest, he will be out of the party

He said that PASOK will submit a proposal for the establishment of a Pre-Investigation Committee for OPEKEPE and that Voridis and Avgenakis will be included in the frame

Newsroom June 30 10:00

If there is an executive involved in the OPEKEPE case who has damaged the public interest, he will be out of PASOK. This was stated by Nikos Androulakis, stressing that if it turns out that he knew about it and did nothing, he will take responsibility.

Addressing the prime minister on the substance, the leader of PASOK accused him of having personal responsibility, that he could not have been unaware of “the circuit that had central guidance” and that the Southwest is trying to muddy the waters. “Here we have a prime minister who is irresponsible, responsible or of diminished responsibility? The responsibility is personal to the prime minister. If he had taken initiatives, we would not have gotten a fine,” Androulakis claimed, speaking to Mega.

During the interview, he stressed that political change requires elections, of course, but that he is not calling for elections now, because there is a risk of the statute of limitations on the offences. He added that PASOK will submit a proposal for the establishment of a pre-investigation committee for the OPEKEPE and that Mr. Voridis and Mr. Avgenakis will be included in the frame.
