Macron winked at Kate Middleton – Mick Jagger and Elton John at Charles’ glamorous dinner in Windsor

50-metre-long banquet table that took six days to set up in every detail - Emmanuel Macron sat between the King and Kate, while Brigitte sat between Camilla and Prince William

Newsroom July 9 12:00

The coexistence of Emanuel Macron with Kate Middleton, during yesterday’s formal dinner hosted by King Charles and Camilla at Windsor Castle in honour of the French presidential couple.

And while the event was attended by the entire royal family and famous faces, the spotlight seemed to have been “stolen” by the moment when the French president gave his characteristic wink to Kate Middleton, who made her first appearance at a state dinner since her health scare. The two also exchanged a toast in front of the guests.

Kate Middleton wore a long dress in dark red silk by Givenchy. For the first time, she appeared with King Charles’ royal medal. She also wore a tiara of Princess Diana. A tuxedo was worn by Prince William, who carried his medals.

Emmanuel Macron sat at the table between Charles and Kate, while Brigitte Macron, who wore a long blue dress, sat between Camilla and Prince William.

Present at the dinner were Sir Mick Jagger a but also Sir Elton John, accompanied by his husband. In attendance were Christine Scott Thomas, footballer Mary Earps, and singer Mika.

The entire royal family was in attendance. The dinner was attended by Princess Anne with Timothy Lawrence, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

The details of the table, 50 meters long, which the officials set up in great detail for six days, are surprising. The dinner was held in St George’s Lodge in Windsor, which was decorated with flowers and herbs from the royal gardens, and which will be distributed to charities by the charity Floral Angels. The formal table, 50 metres in length.
