Putin’s “secret” daughter rails against him for the war in Ukraine

22-year-old Luiza Rozova posts sharp messages on Telegram – Reportedly the daughter of Putin and former musician Svetlana Krivonogikh – Born in St. Petersburg, now living in Paris

Newsroom August 4 09:06

Luiza Rozova, the 22-year-old rumored to be Russian President Vladimir Putin’s secret daughter, has resurfaced in the public eye after posting a series of cryptic and critical messages on her Telegram channel, appearing to indirectly condemn her alleged father and openly oppose the war in Ukraine.

Rozova – also known by the alias Elizaveta Krivonogikh – wrote on Telegram: “The man who took millions of lives and destroyed mine.” While she didn’t name Putin, the post has been widely interpreted as a personal jab. For years, reports have pointed to her being the result of Putin’s relationship with former musician Svetlana Krivonogikh.

In another post, the young woman, now based in Paris and working in the arts, shared a selfie with the caption: “It’s liberating to be able to show my face to the world again. It reminds me who I am, and who ruined my life.” According to Germany’s Bild newspaper, the posts appeared on her channel titled “Art of Luiza.”

Once known for sharing photos of lavish trips, private DJ sets, and glamorous outfits, Rozova disappeared from social media after Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Today, she presents a markedly different image – politically vocal, active in artistic circles, and openly anti-war.

From St. Petersburg to Paris: From Silence to Outspoken Criticism

Born in 2003 in St. Petersburg, Rozova is allegedly Putin’s daughter, according to investigative outlet Proekt, which in 2020 revealed her possible identity, citing the patronymic “Vladimirovna” in her birth certificate. Her mother reportedly amassed great wealth shortly after her daughter’s birth.

‼️🇷🇺 "The man who took the lives of millions and destroyed mine as well" — Putin’s alleged illegitimate daughter has released personal photos and publicly criticized her dictator father, according to the German outlet BILD.

Luiza graduated in June 2024 from ICART, a cultural management school in Paris. She now works at two art galleries, L Galerie in Belleville and Escape Albatros in Montreuil, both known for hosting anti-war exhibitions. Her role reportedly involves curating exhibitions and producing audiovisual content.

“We are not ready to work with regime beneficiaries”

Despite her vocal anti-war stance, Rozova’s involvement in these galleries has sparked backlash. Russian artist Nastya Rodionova, who fled Russia in 2022, publicly cut ties with any galleries linked to Rozova.

Rodionova posted on Facebook: “I believe in the presumption of innocence, and that children are not responsible for their parents’ crimes. But with the war raging, it’s unacceptable for someone from a regime-benefiting family to stand alongside victims of that regime.”

Rozova responded publicly: “Am I truly responsible for the actions of a family that won’t even hear me?”

The 22-year-old has reportedly adopted the name Elizaveta Rudova – possibly inspired by Putin’s late confidant Oleg Rudov – in an apparent effort to distance herself from her surname and past.
