Second earthquake in Athens – 2 Richter in Chalandri & 2.5 in Kifisia (Upd.)

According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter was 1 kilometers east-northeast of Kifisia - A tremor had previously occurred in Chalandri, which was also felt in parts of Attica

UPDATE: An earthquake measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale occurred around 1:40 a.m. on Thursday in Kifisia.

According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter was 1 kilometer north of Kifisia, with a focal depth of 11.1 kilometers.

Approximately two hours earlier, a tremor had occurred in Chalandri, which was also felt in parts of Attica. Specifically, the epicenter of the earthquake, which took place at 11:33 p.m., was located 2 kilometers west-southwest of Chalandri, with a focal depth estimated at 11.5 kilometers.

It is noted that in the automatic solution of the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter initially appeared in Galatsi with a magnitude of 2 Richter.
