Police officers involved in the arrest of singer Vassilis Paiteris when, during a check by the traffic police, it was discovered that he had a conviction for unpaid debts.

According to reports, the 75-year-old singer was arrested while on his way to rehearse with Sabrina at the Glass Music Theatre for scheduled performances on October 18 and 25.

According to the newspaper Espresso, Vassilis Paiteris had a pending conviction related to an unpaid fine years ago for planning violations related to the construction of a building in an off-plan area in Agia Varvara.
