“Look at them, you’re terrorists, you support murderers” – Netanyahu’s Minister mocks Gaza Flotilla detainees

Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, visited the port of Ashdod where the detainees are being held

Newsroom October 3 09:26

On Thursday night, Israeli minister Itamar Ben Gvir, from Netanyahu’s government, visited Ashdod, where the detainees from the Gaza-bound flotilla are being held.

In a video circulating on social media, Israel’s Minister of National Security is seen lashing out and addressing the detainees with harsh language.

Pointing at them, Ben Gvir is heard calling the detainees “terrorists” and shouting “You will be punished.”

“These are the terrorists. They are terrorists. Look at them. Supporters of murderers. They came for Gaza, for the terrorists,” Ben Gvir is heard saying.

According to Israeli authorities, none of the flotilla vessels broke the blockade, following a raid on boats from the Global Sumud Flotilla, which aimed to deliver activists and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

The detainees were brought to the port of Ashdod, where they were processed, and deportation procedures are expected to begin.
