Weather Forecast by the National Meteorological Service (EMY)

Today
Partly cloudy skies with intervals of sunshine are expected across most of the country. Clouds will gradually increase in the west and north, bringing local showers mainly over the Ionian Sea, Epirus, and western Central Greece.
Isolated thunderstorms may occur around midday and in the afternoon, and again overnight in the northern Ionian (particularly around Corfu and Paxos) and parts of Epirus.

Morning and evening visibility will be locally limited, especially over the western mainland.

Winds will blow from the southwest at 3–5 Beaufort, reaching locally up to 6 Beaufort at sea.
Temperatures will rise slightly, reaching 24–25°C in most regions, 26–28°C in central and southern mainland areas and Crete.

Macedonia & Thrace:
Partly cloudy, gradually increasing clouds from the west with local showers possible.
Winds: Southerly 3–5 Beaufort, locally up to 6 Beaufort in eastern coastal areas.
Temperature: 11–25°C, 3–4 degrees lower in western Macedonia.

Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese:
Clouds increasing from the west with local showers.
Winds: Southerly 4–5 Beaufort, locally up to 6 in the Ionian.
Temperature: 12–24°C, lower inland in Epirus.

Thessaly, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese:
Generally fair with occasional clouds.
Temperature: 11–27°C, locally up to 28°C.

Cyclades & Crete:
Mostly clear with some clouds.
Winds: West-southwest 4–6 Beaufort.
Temperature: 17–25°C, locally 27–28°C in southern Crete.

Eastern Aegean Islands & Dodecanese:
Mostly clear with a few local clouds.
Winds: In the north, south-southwest 4–6 Beaufort; in the south, west-southwest 4–5 Beaufort.
Temperature: 16–26°C.

Attica:
Generally clear with occasional thin clouds.
Winds: West-southwest 3–4 Beaufort.
Temperature: 15–26°C.

Thessaloniki:
Partly cloudy.
Winds: Variable 3–4 Beaufort.
Temperature: 12–24°C.

Outlook for the Coming Days

Monday, October 27, 2025:
Clouds are increasing in the northern Ionian and Epirus early in the day, spreading to western Sterea, Macedonia, Thrace, and gradually Thessaly and the western and northern Peloponnese, bringing local showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the north. Conditions will improve from late afternoon.
Elsewhere, thin clouds will gradually thicken, with local rain from midday in the eastern Aegean islands and possible isolated thunderstorms in the north.

Winds:
– West: South-southwest 4–6 Beaufort, turning northwest and weakening from the afternoon.
– East: Southerly 4–6 Beaufort, in the Aegean 6–8 Beaufort, gradually easing late in the day.

Temperature: Slight rise in the south, reaching 23–24°C in most areas, 25–27°C in central and southern mainland regions, and up to 30°C in Crete.

Tuesday, October 28, 2025:
Increasing clouds in the eastern islands, Ionian Sea, and western and northern mainland with local showers until afternoon; elsewhere, mostly fair with passing clouds.
Winds: Westerly 3–5 Beaufort, up to 6 in the Aegean. In the eastern islands, southerly 4–5 Beaufort until early afternoon.
Temperature: Slight drop, mainly in the north.

Wednesday, October 29, 2025:
Mostly clear across the country, with a few clouds over the Peloponnese and locally in eastern mainland areas until noon.
Visibility will be locally limited in the morning and evening.
Winds: Variable and light in the west; northerly 3–4 Beaufort in the east, locally 5 in the Aegean.
Temperature: Little change.
