“They threw the bomb,” says Kargakis’ widow – His sister did not respond to the appeal for calm

The wife of the 29-year-old man who surrendered yesterday for the bloody clash in Vorizia, repeated today her appeal to the women of the Kargakis family saying “we have boys, it would be tragic if something bad happens”

Newsroom November 5 06:35

The widow of Fanouris Kargakis repeated that her husband had nothing to do with the explosive device that detonated in a house of a member of the Frangiadakis family, and asserted that she does not want a vendetta in Vorizia. On the other hand, the sister of the 39-year-old chose not to answer the appeal for calm made by the 29-year-old’s wife.

The widow of the 39-year-old told MEGA that a vendetta is not her intention and claimed: “they are the ones who threw the bomb. What else can I say. Go online and read. It’s all lies. Those people there, those pigs, sit and say all these things.”

“I answer nothing”

For her part, the sister of Fanouris Kargakis said: “none of this is true. Nothing. One moment they say they want to kill us and then she comes out again and says ‘I don’t want revenge, I want calm’. Why don’t you say publicly that yesterday you said you wanted to kill and today you want calm? How? How did you change this?”

“We do not care,” she said about the surrender of the three brothers and, when asked what she would respond to the 29-year-old’s wife who appealed to stop the bloodshed, she said: “I answer nothing. Whatever I have to answer, my lawyer will answer. I have nothing to say. My lawyer will respond.”

“We have boys, it would be tragic if something bad happens”

The wife of the 29-year-old who surrendered yesterday for the bloody clash in Vorizia, repeated again her appeal to the women of the Kargakis family: “Let this end here. I ask the other side as well. I ask the women to stop this here, we have children, boy children I repeat, boys. It would be tragic if tomorrow or the next day something bad happens. I sincerely beg them. Influence their husbands, their sons, to stop all of this here.”

“Blood was shed on both sides, truly enough. Enough,” said the wife of the 29-year-old, and she claimed that her husband has done absolutely nothing.
