Tragedy at a bakery in Larisa: Woman’s scarf caught in dough kneading machine, leading to fatal accident

New details have emerged about the tragic accident that occurred on Thursday morning in Damasi, Larisa, where a 49-year-old woman lost her life inside the bakery she owned

Newsroom November 13 11:07

According to Tirnavospress.gr, the unfortunate woman, a mother of two, appears to have become trapped in a dough kneading machine while cleaning it—likely when her scarf got caught in the machinery. The accident is believed to have happened shortly before she was about to start preparations for the next production process.

The woman had recently lost her own mother.

She was found unconscious by a customer of the bakery, who, after searching for her without any response, went to the back of the shop and discovered her.

Emergency medical services were called immediately, but despite the rescuers’ efforts, the woman could not be revived.
