Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he would soon launch attacks on targets inside Venezuela.
“We will start carrying out these attacks on land as well,” he said on Tuesday during a cabinet meeting.
He added that “we know where they live, we know where the bad guys live, and we will start very soon.”
The US president is thus escalating his stance against drug traffickers who Washington says leave Venezuela on their speedboats.
Trump has also been considering the possibility of striking targets inside Venezuela for weeks, CNN notes.
